IFS Skillnet Steering Group
The purpose of the IFS Skillnet Steering Group is to oversee the implementation and strategic direction of the Network. The group provides essential governance and support, ensuring all network activities are strategically relevant to the industry.
It is structured to be representative of our network's membership from both a sectoral and geographical perspective.
Composition and Role
Our Steering Group is comprised of representatives from network member companies, our promoter organisation (Financial Services Ireland - FSI), key Industry Associations (including BPFI, Irish Funds, Insurance Ireland, and the Irish Association of Investment Managers), and the Network Management team.
This group provides the core strategic control for the network, acting as an advisory board and a crucial link between member companies and the wider industry. It guides the Network Management team and ensures all decisions conform to national legislation and Skillnet Ireland operating guidelines.
